THE TRIP HAS BEGUN!
Golden Gardens to home today. About 11 miles, not including the back and forth looking for a dropped iPhone, but it was found! "Find my phone" app really does work, especially if the phone is found by good samaritans. Paul joined me on the ride and Geoff Jones met us there. Beautiful day for a bike ride. Low tide (-2 ft) so we opted for the boat launch at Shilshole Marina rather then the mud flats at Golden Gardens.
Distance - 11 miles; At this rate it will take about a year to get to the east coast!
Vertical feet - 375
